The Book of Acts Is A Transitional Book

The book of Acts is a transitional book.  In the beginning of the book, Israel was given their last chances to recognize Jesus as their Messiah.  The middle of the book details Israel's final rejection of Jesus as their Messiah with the stoning of Stephen as Jesus "stood up" in heaven.  The Apostle Paul was then converted by Jesus Himself as the Apostle to the gentiles (non-Israel).  The rest of the book transitions from the gospel of the circumcision (Jesus earthy ministry to Israel put on hold (Romans 9-11), Matthew Mark Luke John was written/speaking to Israel not  you in the church/body of Christ age until the rapture) to the gospel of the uncircumcision, Jesus' heavenly ministry,  given by Jesus to the Apostle Paul as direct instruction to us in the church/body of Christ age until the rapture.  Jesus revealed to the Apostle Paul our direct instruction as gentiles (non-Israel) and the books of Romans through Philemon are how God is now operating until the rapture.  Believe/Trust the gospel that saves today - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 !! No works required to be saved or remain saved.  Then study Romans through Philemon to grow in God's grace !!!   Understanding who each book of the bible was written to, or rightly dividing the Word of Truth is how we have been commanded to study the bible.  Once we do it clears up any seemingly contradictory verses and unlocks the beauty of God's love and grace to you shown by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.  Learn more here in my featured blog post - The Gospel That Saves !!!
