January 2007

Through many faithful supporters we have now been in full time ministry for a year. What a great joy it has been to have so many giving so sacrificially for us to minister here in Broome. We managed to come in under budget in 2006, however we expect costs to increase in 2007 as the cost of living in a remote North West town continues to increase. Lachlan is planning to visit some churches later in the year to say thank you to the many who are supporting us and to raise awareness of the spiritual needs of the Kimberley and the North West. Please continue to pray for us in our work and for financial needs. Broome Anglican Chruch is also rejoicing in God's provision as for the first time in many years it has gone it alone without the financial support of the Bush Church Aid society. This has been a sign of maturity for those faithful members who have dug a little deeper this year. It shows a commitment to the Lord's work here in Broome and a confidence in the ministry that is currently being done. 2007 sees the need for the church to undergo some major resortation and renovation works on its buildings. The cost is likely to be in the hundreds of thousands. Please be praying that the funding is easily raised for this project and that it is managed wisely.
