Lachlan's Ordination

What a fantastic night!

It was awesome to have so many come and support us. There were about 140 people crammed into the tiny 130 seat church in the Swan Valley. The songs were uplifting, the teaching edifying, and the prayers heartfelt as we gathered together to give God the glory that is due Him. We are particularly thankful for those who helped in the service - For the muso's, for Colin who read 1 Timothy 4, for Brad as he prayed, for Marty as he preached, and for Bill and David as they officiated, and for all those who helped behind the scenes. A special thank you to those family members who traveled interstate to be with us, and to those who traveled (almost as far) from within the state.

We have just 9 weeks left in Perth before we head toward Broome. In that time Bec and I have 3 essays and 6 exams to do between us, as well as packing up the house. We will arrive in Broome late January to begin work (and School for the kids) at the beginning of February.

Please continue to pray for the appointment of a senior minister for Broome. It will be a completely new ministry team next year!

Please also pray for the Anglican High School in Broome which will hopefully begin in 2007. There is much to be done between now and then including finding a principal and teaching staff. (Let us know if you are interested.)
